At Shekinah Glory Missions Centre, we believe that education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty and giving a child the chance to build a better future. For us, empowering children goes beyond just providing food and shelter — it means investing in their minds, nurturing their dreams, and giving them the opportunity to rise.

Over the years, Shekinah Glory has been privileged to sponsor the education of more than 2,000 children, supporting them from kindergarten all the way to university level. Many of these children come from backgrounds marked by poverty, abandonment, or displacement — children who, without support, would never have stepped foot in a classroom. Through our sponsorship program, we cover tuition fees, school supplies, uniforms, meals, and, where needed, boarding — ensuring that each child can focus on learning without the burden of financial stress.

Our vision is not just to send children to school, but to raise a generation of leaders, professionals, and changemakers who can transform their communities and uplift others as they have been uplifted.

To further support this mission, Shekinah Glory also operates a fully functional, mixed boarding secondary school — Bishop Tanguli High School — which provides affordable, quality education to children from low-income families. With a current population of over 600 students, Bishop Tanguli High School stands as a beacon of hope for families who would otherwise have no means to educate their children.

This school was born out of a deep need: many parents in our communities simply could not afford the rising costs of public education, and their children were being left behind. Bishop Tanguli High School bridges that gap by offering subsidized tuition, a safe and supportive learning environment, dedicated teaching staff, and holistic development — including academics, spiritual growth, emotional resilience, and social skills.

Our secondary school is more than just a classroom; it is a refuge of opportunity, where students can study, grow, and dream without fear of being sent home for fees. We integrate life skills training, mentorship programs, and Christian values into the curriculum, ensuring that students leave not only academically prepared but equipped to face life with wisdom, confidence, and integrity.

Today, many of the children we’ve supported through this program have become university graduates, teachers, nurses, engineers, pastors, entrepreneurs, and social workers — living proof of what faith, love, and education can accomplish when combined.

Yet, our work is far from done. The demand for education sponsorships continues to grow as more and more families cry out for help, desperate to give their children a future. Our prayer is that with more support, more partners, and more resources, we can sponsor even more children, expand our facilities, and extend the impact of Bishop Tanguli High School to reach even more underserved regions.
