Governance

We have a well-defined governance structure that promotes sound stewardship and accountability, clearly separating financial management from pastoral ministry.

By our Constitution, the governance structure of Shekinah Glory Missions Centre is as follows:

  • The Bishop’s Council: This is the supreme governing organ of the Shekinah Glory Missions Centre.
  • The Regional Annual General Meetings (RAGMs): Operating at the regional level, the RAGMs, with the assistance of the Deacon Board, prepare and process decisions for approval and ratification by the ADC as appropriate. The decisions of the RAGMs are subject to final approval by the ADC.
  • The Deacon Board: Comprising twelve members elected during the AGM, the Deacon Board oversees all legal and administrative matters of Shekinah Glory Missions Centre. It is responsible for implementing the decisions made by the ADC and RAGMs.
  • The Council of Elders: This body safeguards the vision and mission of Shekinah Glory Missions Centre and oversees all spiritual matters of the ministry.
  • The Management: The affairs of Shekinah Glory Missions Centre are executed under the Bishop’s supervision, who oversees the ministry’s assemblies through Senior Pastors and ministry coordinators. The Bishop also chairs the Bishop’s Council and the RAGMs, ensuring effective supervision of the ministry’s operations and administrative functions.
  • Trustees: Legal custody of Shekinah Glory Missions Centre’s real property is entrusted to a Trust, with Trustees appointed by delegates at the Annual Delegates Conference (ADC).

This governance structure ensures that Shekinah Glory Missions Centre operates with integrity and transparency and aligns with its mission and values.
